Our Lady of the Valley had a “spooktacular” community turnout at its second annual Halloween Fest Oct. 31. Optional admission was a donation of food or paper products for the Mat-Su Food Bank, and about 150 pounds of canned goods and paper products were donated. The games and costumes were creative and the highlight was a decorated hearse by Sam Carranza at Valley Funeral Home and Crematory.
