One of four baby lambs born to the same ewe lets out a cry at Sunset Acres Farm in Wasilla Friday afternoon. The ewe gave birth to the quadruplets, three girls and a boy, on May 2. Sunset Acres owner Suzanne Nevada said that in the 14 years she has been raising sheep she has never had quadruplets. ‘It was always monumental when we’ve had triplets,’ she said. Nevada said having quadruplets is a pretty special genetic trait and there is the potential to pass that on, so the babies could eventualy have triplets and maybe quadruplets of their own. Nevada said she was surprised by the birth. ‘I was, like, they couldn’t be from the same mom, but all looked alike and the mom was very attentive,’ Nevada said.
