I’d like to express my thanks to Hartley Motors. On my alternate-day health walks around my neighborhood, I try to pick up carelessly tossed trash, but recently found a large overstuffed chair that was obviously thrown in a ditch below the bike path along East Blue Lupine Drive.
It was much too large for my grocery store plastic bags, so I asked the folks at Hartley’s if they could assist in community service by using one of their off-road vehicles to pick up and dispose of the chair, rather than letting it sit there the rest of the winter.
Within a week the eyesore was gone, and I’d like to express my sincere thanks for their help.
I just wish others would be as thoughtful and considerate in keeping our Valley free of their roadside garbage!
