Harvey suits ear to a T

T. Harvey came to Alaska in March 2008. Since then he’s performed his Texas/blues/hippie music for hundreds of local music listeners, with a regular gig at Moosehead every Friday night.

T. Harvey has also performed at other assorted bars,a but now he’s bringing his music to a new type of venue.

This Saturday, you can hear T. Harvey perform live at Pandemonium Booksellers & Café, located in front of Home Depot here in Wasilla.

“Some people I know who aren’t willing to go into the bars are going to see me perform for the first time,” says Harvey.

As a musician in recovery, T. Harvey is glad to be able to perform in an environment that is not alcohol driven.

Pandemonium, since opening this past summer, has become a mainstay for acoustic performers, hosting shows for touring acts, as well as locals, like T. Harvey. The coffee shop ambience definitely lends the vibe that so many acoustic music listeners look for. There’s nothing quite like a triple shot of espresso to focus the mind on the intricacies of a finger-picked guitar and well-crafted lyrics.

Before moving to Palmer, T. Harvey played as a street musician and a band front man in Austin, Texas —a town that is world-renowned for its booming indie music scene. Having that background in music and having come from such a hotbed of musical talent ensures that T. Harvey knows how to please his listeners.

Find out for yourself this Saturday at Pandemonium. The show starts at 8 p.m. and, as always at Pandemonium, admission is free!
