PALMER — The Colony Knights used a pair of hat tricks to score a victory over a Valley rival.
Gabby Wakaliuk and Isabella Brown netted three goals each to lead the Knights to a 10-0 win over Palmer Thursday night.
Stirling Elliott, Madi Wakaliuk and Alyssa Jones also scored for Colony. Ashylnn Cornelison recorded the shutout in net.
Noah Krozel also collected a hat trick for the Colony boys during a 5-0 win over Palmer late that evening. Kyle Dearborn and Logan Curtis also scored. Quinn Larson notched the shutout.
Warriors sweep North Pole
Reese Sande recorded four goals and two assists to lead Wasilla to an 8-0 nonconference win over North Pole Thursday night.
Ally Hull added two goals and two assists, and Alexis Friesen chipped in a goal and an assist. Macleran Obremski recorded the shutout.
The Wasilla Warriors beat North Pole 4-1. Jacob Anderson was among the goal scoreres for the Warriors.
Wasilla girls beat Nikiski
Reese Sande collected two goals and two assists to lead Wasilla to an 8-0 win over Nikiski.
Jodie Richey scored twice. Amelia Butler, Ally Hull, Abby Crawford and Emily Summers also scored.
Olivia Matson and Macleran Obremski split the shutout in the Warriors net.
