Ever notice that when there’s a car accident the drivers are identified as the ones involved, but when an SUV is involved, the car caused the mishap? “A SUV ran a stop sign,” etc. It’s never “a run-of-the-mill family sedan ran a stop sign.” Apparently, SUVs are living, thinking machines without drivers.
Well, the plot thickens. From the Aug. 2 Frontiersman’s “Police Beat”: “… when a road construction barrier struck his vehicle.” This poor guy was driving along, minding his own business, when a barrier sucker punched him!
Folks, we’re in a lot of trouble. Now construction barriers live, think and take action! Be on guard!
