Houston - The Kenai Central Kardinals girls soccer squad posted a 12-0 win over Houston at Houston High School on Friday.
The Kards notched their first score four minutes into the contest - a Casey Coupchiak goal - and Coupchiak was one of seven Kenai players to reach the back of the Houston net.
Senior Taylor Brewer led the Kards with the hat trick, while senior Rebekah Summer and sophomores Sheena Anderson and Shelby Daly each scored twice.
The Kardinals scored three times in the first 20 minutes, and seven times in the first half.
Things didn't get much better for the Hawks Saturday, as Soldotna raced out to an early lead and never looked back en route to an 8-0 win at Houston.
