HOMER — Sophomore Zach Lovelace scored a pair of goals to lead the Houston Hawks to a 5-3 nonconference win over the Homer Mariners at the Homer Ice Arena on Thursday.
Both of Lovelace’s goals were unassisted tallies. The blueliner put a puck past Luke Eckert two minutes into the third period and added another goal with 32 seconds left in the final frame.
Forwards Lane Styers, Jon Olson and Ken Doss also scored for the Hawks.
