Hawks skate to win over Colony

The Houston Hawks celebrated the team’s senior night with a 10-2 win over Division I Colony Tuesday at the Big Lake Recreational Center in Big Lake.

Brayden Spain led the Hawks with a hat trick. Daniel Matveev and Afanasy Efimov scored two goals each. Trenton Huber and Brody Richard also scored. Matveev, Afanasy Efimov and Domnin Efimov also had two assists each.

Ari Burnside and Kole Kite split time in goal for Houston, with 11 and 10 saves.

Colony bounced back with a 6-2 win over Bartlett in Anchorage.

Isaac McKenzie and Kaden Lynch scored two goals each to lead the Knights. Aiden Finch and Luke Holman also scored.

McKenzie and Lynch both scored on the power play.
