Hawks stay undefeated with win at Homer

WASILLA — Another week, another big win on the road for the Houston Hawks.

Houston improved to 4-0 with a 20-8 victory over Homer at Homer High School. The week before, the Hawks earned their first win at Barrow in school history.

Houston’s latest victory came in a key Peninsula Conference matchup. Owen Mulhaney rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Hawks. Kennedy Fono added 73 yards on the ground.

Apete Sasiu returned an interception for a touchdown to lead the Hawks defense.

In other Valley action on the road, Wasilla suffered a 63-0 loss at Juneau and Chugiak beat Colony 38-12. Ridge Raval hauled in a long touchdown pass for the Knights. Hunter Sasser also returned a fumble for a score for the Knights.
