The Houston Hawks swept a pair of varsity games against rival Redington Jan. 31 at Houston High.
The Houston boys grabbed a 58-40 victory over the Huskies. Noah Whitted scored 16 in the win, including eight of Houston’s 15 first-quarter points. Aiden Dobbs scored 16 for Redington.
The Houston girls edged Redington 36-34. The teams combined for only five points in the first quarter, and Houston followed with an 11-4 second-quarter run.
Sarah Bodfish scored 17 for the Hawks. Danyel Loyd hit a pair of threes in the fourth quarter. Janessa Gubler scored all 10 of her points in the second half for the Huskies.
