SOLDOTNA -- Wade Williams and Henry Orth each notched hat tricks in Houston's 9-1 win over Skyview on the final day of the Peninsula Ice Challenge in Soldotna on Saturday.
The Hawks improved to 2-1 in the tourney and 3-1 overall for the Hawks.
Larry Kincaid, Jason Hundley and Chad Lipse also scored for Houston. Devin Styers led the club with three assists and Joe Current stopped 17 of 18 shots in goal to earn the win.
On Friday Houston earned a 5-2 win over Bartlett, behind a hat trick from Williams. Styers and Rick Morlock also scored. Paul Sutton-Jones stopped 37 shots in the win.
The Hawks started the six-team tourney with a tough 6-4 loss to Fairbanks power, West Valley. Kincaid notched a hat trick and Sutton-Jones stopped 42 Wolfpack shots in the loss. Williams also scored.
Houston returns to action at the Menard Memorial Ice Arena to face Palmer at 7 p.m. on Friday and Service at 7:30 p.m.
