The Houston Hawks and Wasilla Warriors spent a three-day weekend in Interior Alaska. Houston, the Division III defending champions, finished the weekend 3-0-0. Wasilla was 2-1-0
Houston capped its weekend with a 6-2 win over Delta. Anfim Konev scored twice. Phillip Kuzmin, Domnin Efimov, Andrey Reutov and Devon Beach also scored.
The Hawks flew past Delta 10-1 the night before. Konev notched the hat trick, Reutov and Efmov scored two goals each. Jory Allen, Afanasy Efmov and Trenton Huber also scored.
The Hawks opened their trip with a 9-0 win over Tri-Valley. Anfim Konev and Beach scored two goals each.Reutov, Afanasy Efmov, Domnin Efmov, Cyrus Johnson and Brody Richard also scored.
Wasilla also scored a road win Thursday, beating West Valley 5-3 in Fairbanks.
Five different players scored for the Warriors. Molly Matson, Karson McGrew, Dalan Dubie, Snader Sayers and Easton McRee scored for the Warriors.
West Valley took an early 2-1 lead with a pair of power play goals in the first. Wasilla rebounded with three goals in the second. Sanders scored the third goal of the middle frame with the Warriors shorthanded.
West Valley bounced back with a 4-3 win on Saturday. Sanders scored twice and McRee added a goal.
Wasilla also beat North Pole 4-0. Dubie, McGrew, McRee and Sterling Myers scored.
Kole Kite earned the 11-save shutout.
