Help is near after car fire

Last Monday, July 28, I was on my way home from a meeting when I started having trouble with my car. I tried to make it to the Wal-Mart parking lot but my car stopped running while on the exit ramp from the Parks Highway. It proceeded to start to burn.

I want to thank all the people who stopped and helped me. I called 911 and the Wasilla Fire Department arrived promptly and put out the fire. I especially appreciated the woman who stayed and drove me home after the fire was out. I can’t recall your name but I remember that you’re a new special ed teacher at Teeland Middle School.

Again, I just wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciated your help and support.
