Hill collects signatures for Senate run

PALMER — Sidney Hill is collecting signatures to add his name to the ballot for U.S. Senator, a seat presently held by U.S. Sen. Mark Begich.

Hill, a Palmer resident, said he supports the reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act and the formation of a new Pecora Commission.

“If Glass-Steagall isn’t reinstated by the time I get there, I will hit the ground running on that,” Hill said.

He said he also supports the Bering Strait Tunnel and the North American Water and Power Alliance.
