Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Mat-Su Ski and Snowboard Club Inc., a nonprofit winter sports organization, is sponsoring a ski/snowboard program for middle and high school students 11 years old and older at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood. Exceptions are sometimes made for younger students. All experience levels are invited.
Schedules operate on alternating Saturdays, beginning Jan. 7 and Jan. 14, respectively. Participants receive round-trip transportation, lift tickets and two lessons for eight Saturday outings for $360. Equipment rental costs an additional $160. Students participating in both schedules pay $675.
