Homeschool convention set

The 2004 APHEA Homeschool Convention is set for March 5-6 in Birchwood, and Valley homeschool families are encouraged to attend.

The event is March 5 from noon to 9 p.m. and March 6 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Birchwood Community Church. James and Stacy McDonald, publisher and editor of "Homeschooling Today" magazine, is scheduled to speak.

There will also be other speakers, workshops, curriculum vendors, door prizes and musical performances.
