I would like to thank Assemblyman Warren Keogh for his service on the Mat-Su Borough Assembly. From my perspective, Mr. Keogh did the job that he was elected to do — represent his constituents by keeping them informed and responding to their concerns.
Mr. Keogh has gone above and beyond by attending countless community meetings and answering countless emails and phone calls. I greatly appreciate that he would follow up with new information on a subject that I previously had raised. As I write this, it is unknown who will be the next assembly person for District 1, although Jim Sykes appears to be ahead in votes.
Regardless of whether it is Mr. Sykes or Mr. Glenn, I hope our next representative will take seriously his role as a conduit of information between the borough assembly and their constituents.
