Host Hawks win Houston wrestling tourney

HOUSTON — Powered by four individual champions, the Houston Hawks rolled to a convincing win in the team standings during the two-day Altercation at Houston High School.

The host Hawks finished with 213 total points, nearly 100 better than runner-up Eielson.

Defending state champion Aaron Drake won four more matches in the 126-pound class stay undefeated this season. He beat Grace’s Evan Bockman 7-2 in the finals.

Jacob McAnulty (113 pounds), Sean Lang (195) and Kendal Beasley (220) also won their weight classes.
