PALMER More than 60 classic and souped-up vehicles cruised the strip of downtown Palmer last weekend, as the Valley Cruzers hit the pavement. Classic cars, old-time cars and racers were among the vehicles lining the Palmer pavement. The event was held to mirror similar events held in the Lower 48.
Numerous car clubs such as the Mustang Club and the Corvette Club joined the Valley Cruzers in the show-and-tell event. People lined the streets to get a glimpse of cars from yesteryear, and hot rods from today.
Organizers hope to continue the event again next year.
