FAIRBANKS — The Lathrop Malemutes used a 30-12 first quarter run tao post a 75-64 Mid-Alaska Conference win over the Houston Hawks at Lathrop High School on Thursday.
Gralin Paul led Lathrop with a game-high 19. Scott Herman scored 16 points to lead the Hawks.
Earlier Thursday evening, the Lathrop girls coasted to a 51-15 win over Houston.
Ariel Katzenberger led the Hawks with six points.
On Friday, Hutchison swept the Houston boys and girls in Fairbanks.
Herman led the Hawks with 13 points during a 75-42 loss to Hutchison.
Katzenberger scored nine in the girls’ 32-19 loss.
