WASILLA — The Houston Hawks picked up a pair of wins over Peninsula schools last weekend.
Friday, Aspen Ruth netted a hat trick to lead Houston to a 9-1 win over Seward. Denali Whitted, Kyla Nicoll and Megan Adair added two goals each. Saturday, Houston beat Nikiski 6-2. Ruth and Whitted both scored twice. Nicoll and Adair added a goal each.
Houston’s season continues with games against Grace Christian, Homer and Voznesenka on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
