Houston scores basketball wins over Sitka

Houston boys basketball standout continued to dominate during a pair of home wins over Sitka over the weekend.

Howard scored 37 points during a 74-66 win over Sitka on Friday. He shot 15 of 27 from the field, and hit a trio of three-pointers. Cole Taylor added 14, and Noah Whitted scored 11.

Howard added 25 in a 59-43 win the following day. Whitted finished with a dozen, and Talylor and Keldin Nicoll scored 11 each.

In girls action, Sitka beat Houston 44-38 on Friday. Grace Gillespie and Abbie Baird scored 11 points each.
