HOUSTON — Houston used a strong finish to score a 60-48 Southcentral Conference win over Nikiski at Houston High School Saturday.
Houston trailed by one at halftime, but outscored Nikiski 37-26 in the second half. Matt Barron was one of three Hawks to score in double figures and led Houston with 14 points. Mitchell Ruta added 13 and Kruz Kleewein chipped in 10.
Nikiski scored a 48-38 girls victory over Houston earlier in the day. Kimberly Quincy led Houston with 10 points.
