HOUSTON -- Students at Houston Jr./Sr. High School made a difference at the Mid-Valley Senior Center during the holidays, as a group of middle school students helped decorate the center.
The students took time to help unload the decorations, and helped Don Anderson and Viola Petty decorate not only the tree, but the entire center. The students also donated the Christmas tree that was used at the senior center this past holiday season.
"They did a great job for us," Anderson said. "Their teachers asked us if they could help out, and they did a lot more than we ever thought they would. They made the senior center look great."
Anderson said the students also returned after the holidays and helped him pack up the decorations into a storage shed at the center for next year.
