WASILLA — Human remains were found near Big Lake Tuesday night.
According to a dispatch published by the Alaska State Troopers, “(AST) responded to a remote area of Big Lake after receiving a report that human remains had been located. Due to exposure to the elements, positive identification of the remains was impossible.”
The remains were transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office as AST continues to investigate.
