The Redington Huskies crowned four individual champions and earned the team title during the Throw Down in Snow Town wrestling meet Oct. 22 in Valdez.
Myles Campbell (130 pounds), Aiden LaSelle (135), Dameon Tugmon-Grube (145) and Thomas Swalling (152) each won their weight class. Cobin O’Mary (140) and Richard Bernal (189) advanced to the finals and placed second.
Redington finished with 230 total points in the team standings, more than 100 better than runner-up Wasilla.
Kaelynn Seidl led the Warriors with a first-place finish at 103. Kichelle Frizzelle (103) and Phillip Howlett (189) were both second for the Warriors.
Palmer had three individual champs and finished third in the team standings with 122 points. Levi Samaniego (125), Elden Cape (160) and Kaelan Vesel (189) placed first for the Moose. Ezra Ginn was second at 171.
Benicio Rubio led Houston with a second-place finish at 135.
Colony finished second in the team standings at the Hutchison Meltdown in Fairbanks.
Dominic Binder led Colony with a first-place finish at 145. Gabriel Crockett (103), Ethan Smith (189), Jackson Weller (215) and Boldt Lindors (285) advanced to the finals and placed second.
Sawyer Love led Susitna Valley with a first-place finish at 103. Ty Newman was second at 152 for the Rams.
