Long time Palmer resident Hutoka Collins Lamb, 87, passed away September 20, 2020 in Palmer, Alaska.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 2, at 1:00 at the Palmer Pioneer Cemetery.
Mrs. Lamb was born April 1, 1933 to Truman Collins and Margaret Snelling Collins in Wahoo, Nebraska. She married Ernest Clayton Lamb on June 8th 1960. They raised their family in Phoenix, Ariz., Oroville, CA and in 1976 moved to Palmer Alaska.
Hutoka was known for her great cooking and fun hospitality with family and friends. She enjoyed playing the piano, organ and was a piano teacher to many students in the valley over the years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served 3 missions for the church with her husband to Argentina, Guatemala, and Germany.
She is survived by her brother Bob Collins of Adel Iowa, her daughter Loa Cyr, (Steve Cyr) of Palmer, her son Shane Lamb, (Erin Lamb) of Palmer, her son Lance Lamb, (Mandi Lamb) of Summerdale, Alabama and 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
