In gratitude during the loss of a loved one

To the editor:

I would like to thank those who showed such kindness and caring during the illness and passing of my husband, Daniel Sims.

Thank you Ron Sims for all of your help, aunt Alice, Ronnie and Janni, Pastors Gary and Dave, the Church on the Rock administration and food committee. Thanks also to Carolyn, Janni and Cheyenne for their beautiful songs.

There were many who traveled near and far, especially Dan’s family from Ambler and mine from California. Thank you to Rick and Cindy for always being nearby and ready to help.

Finally, I’d like to thank my parents, Gene and Gerri Sauer, and my children and their families, Heather, Shane and Nicole. God has blessed me greatly.

There were so many who were instrumental in helping with so many things, and without leaving anyone out I would just like to say thank you to all who cared, loved, prayed and shared time with Dan during this ordeal. He is in heaven now and free from pain. Thank you to all of our families and friends.
