In honor of National Poetry Month

T o the editor:

Attention! To your feet members of MEA.

It’s on with the armor and off to the fray.

The Carmony gang is sighted you see,

And they want things the way they used to be.

They are unhappy cause there’s a sheriff in town,

So they’re lurking in shadows and holding council with all the blinds down.

Law and order is not their thing,

And us “commoners” with them, no bell can ring.

So take up your ballot and head to the poll.

Vote Sheriffs Lester and Jones whose integrity you know.

Vote Lois Lester and Kit Jones for MEA Board.
