A public meeting to discuss the creation of a Downtown Master Plan for the city of Palmer is at 6 p.m., March 8 at the Palmer Depot, 610 S. Valley Way Robert Banghart, chief curator of the Alaska State Museum in Juneau, will facilitate the meeting.
State Sen. Linda Menard, R-Wasilla, will meet with constituents from 1 to 3 p.m., March 10 at the AT&T Sports Center in Palmer. Two main themes will be the opening of and recruiting for Goose Creek Correctional Center and the proposed Susitna State Forest. The meeting includes a question and answer session with Menard.
