WASILLA — It was a picture-perfect day for a parade Friday when hundreds of people lined the route to see this year's Fourth of July Parade.

Lyn Carden from the Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce said there were 85 entries with about 1,500 participants in this year's parade.

Honored as Grand Marshals this year were Jane Soeten, Barbara Shew and Lois Weir.
