MAT-SU — It’s high school graduation season around the Mat-Su Valley and tonight’s lineup of pomp and circumstance features six graduations.

Mat-Su Career & Technical High School, Mat-Su Valley Day School, Mid-Valley High, Glacier View School, Twindly Bridge and Valley Pathways will all send their classes of 2010 into the world.

By the time Midnight Sun Charter School finishes up the Mat-Su Borough School District’s events May 19, about 1,230 young adults will have matriculated through Valley schools.

Colony High School was first out of the gate on Tuesday, graduating 268 students. Houston followed up on Wednesday with 82 graduates walking the stage. Last night, Palmer and Wasilla high schools held their festivities.

See today’s Valley Life section for more from local graduations, and more coverage continuing Sunday, including a list of all the Valley graduates.
