Is wharf rat on the menu?

To the editor:

Food packages coming into the Hudson, Colo., rent-a-prison are labeled “product of China.”

The FDA does not test imported “meat byproducts” for species of origin.

In China, rat is a legal food for humans, which is why they use live traps to catch rats.

More likely than not, Canteen Correctional Services is supplying meat byproducts to the Hudson rent-a-prison that contains wharf rat. Chinese food processors poisoned their own children with tainted baby formula. They also poisoned American pets with tainted pet food.

If you think that justice is served by letting prisoners eat wharf rat, then consider what may be in the food on your table.

It is written that with what judgment you judge, so shall ye be judged.

If the prisoners at the Hudson rent-a-prison are eating wharf rat, then more likely than not, so are you. Meat byproducts from China can be found in almost any processed food.

Chinese food, drugs and children’s toys should be banned in America. We’re not so poor that we have to eat wharf rat.
