It is true, your faith will work for you — because the Bible says so

With the condition of the world today right now, it is easy to let fear come upon us and torment us. That is why Christians need to stay with God’s word, because “when fear comes in, faith leaves”.

Be diligent in how you deal with the affairs of life today. Don’t let fear overtake you, fearing for your life or loss of paycheck, the list goes on.

Thoughts may come in fact; you can’t always keep thoughts from coming. But you can keep from entertaining negative or fearful thoughts.

The Word of God’s says were there is fear there is torment.

Stay in faith, believing God will do what he promised He will do. In order to believe that, God will do what he says he will do in the Bible, you have to believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. I have been told they are 365 Scriptures in the Bible telling you to live free from fear. Isaiah 41:10 ‘‘Fear thou not ; for I am with the.....’’

Everyone, not just Christians, should try and keep a good positive attitude. Yes, when times are bad it is easy to speak what we see and feel. Just stop for a moment and look around you, just step out and enjoy this great Alaskan countryside, take some deep breaths of the fresh air. Keep yourself busy. Dig out your hobby; get your mind on good things. And for the time being, when told to keep social distance, do it.

Believing Christians now is the time to prove the Bible, The Word of God, more than ever. “He will never leave you or forsake you” say it, speak it out. Confess the word for He will be there in the darkest moment for you. Let the word of God work in your life, you may ask, how do I do that?

By studying God’s Word, by believing it, meditating on it and speaking it forth, confessing those Scriptures that you need to work in your life.

I like what my study Bible says in the back “give your full attention to God’s word and your relationship with Jesus” – “seek God diligently, believe that He will reward you for doing it”

2 Timothy 1:7 says “for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” claim it.

Medical science has recently proven that when we speak our central nervous system tries to have our bodies comply with what we say good or bad. This is just another proof that the Bible is God’s word, because the Gospels showed us these things 2000 years ago.

Mark 11:24 says “...whosoever saith unto this mountain, be thou removed and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things that he saith will be done, he shall have whatsoever he saith.” I like what one minister said about this Scripture “did you notice that it doesn’t say anything about doubting in the head”... Shall not doubt in his heart in verse 24 is talking about the spirit of man, our innermost being. To get it in your heart you must continually bring God’s Word forth. Yes, speak it forth to yourself and if appropriate around those people that receive it. But really when you confess His Word, it will build you up spiritually those things you are believing for in God’s word will be more real.

A Christian should never be overtaken by fear. Caution, yes, especially now, under the circumstances around us, but always remember when fear comes in faith leaves, in other words when you pray you want your faith to work because fear will rob you and you want your faith to work to receive the promises of God.

We must remember Hebrews 11:6 “...without faith it is impossible to please Him...

Philippians 4:6 “be anxious for nothing ... another translation says, do not fret.

As Christians we need to take the Bible and apply it to our daily life and cast all our cares on our Heavenly Father.
