Jackie F. Carpenter of Wasilla Alaska went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2022, in Bangor, ME.

He was born in Chico, CA to Claude Carpenter and Dorothy Morton on December 12th, 1939

A hero and great adventurer! At a young age he found his calling after rescuing a person from a burning plane. He joined the Air Force at the young age of 17 and served for 20 years as a firefighter and first responder, then becoming a civil servant and serving as a Fire Chief in various installations. He traveled the world, from one adventure to the next! He found his home in Alaska where he spent the last 30 or so years of his life doing what he loved the most, skying, fishing, hunting, hiking and yes, sitting in for Santa from time to time. He was loved by his family and all of those who knew him. To many more adventures Dad, you are loved, and you will be missed!
