Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

James H. Ingersoll Jr. of Wasilla, formerly of Waltham, Mass., died Nov. 20, 2005, at home, after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Ingersoll served two tours with the Army during the Vietnam war as a paratrooper with the 173rd Airborne Division. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Lions Club and AMVETS.
He was the devoted son of the late James H. and Mary E. (McGown) Ingersoll, devoted grandson of the late George and Elsie (Cambell) McGown and James and Edith (Evans) Ingersoll and devoted brother of the late David P. Ingersoll, who was killed in action in Vietnam.
Mr. Ingersoll is survived by a brother, Peter, and wife, Annemarie, of Hudson, Mass.; sister, Barbara, of Marlboro; nephew, David, and wife, Daniel, and a grandnephew, Adam, of New Hampshire; nephew, James P., and niece, Jenna Ingersoll of Hudson, Mass..
