Jehovah’s Witnesses are Strengthened by Women of Strong Faith

This weekend millions of people around the world will be reflecting on historical and modern-day examples of faithful and courageous women. The 2021 “Powerful by Faith Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses will feature an eight-part discourse entitled “Imitate Women of Strong Faith!”

The first seven talks on the symposium will highlight women whose stories are told in the Bible and who represent a variety of ages, circumstances, and ethnic groups. Sarah, Rahab, Hannah and Mary are among those included.

The symposium will conclude with modern-day examples of women demonstrating unwavering faith amid a variety of relatable trials. Attendees will examine the challenges these women faced, how they overcame adversity and how all can imitate their strong faith in daily life.

Each summer, Jehovah’s Witnesses host a three-day convention attended by millions in cities throughout the globe. The event is being held virtually for the second consecutive year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is being delivered in more than 500 languages over six weekends which began in July and will conclude in August.

Since the convention is typically held from Friday through Sunday, the program is being presented in six installments corresponding to morning and afternoon sessions. The first five installments are currently available for download on www.jw.org. The sixth installment will be streamed on August 22.

All are invited to attend the event by going to www.jw.org on the web or Media > JW Broadcasting on the free JW Library app available for iOS or Android. JW Broadcasting is also available on streaming platforms like ROKU TV, Apple TV, and others. The program is free and accessible to all.
