Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Lifelong Alaska resident Jennifer Dee Theodore, 31, died at her home at Montana Creek in Willow on April 21, 2005. Viewing and funeral services are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Montana Creek Baptist Mission, Mile 98.2 Parks Hwy., Talkeetna. Pastor Mike Stewart will officiated. Pallbearers will be Ed Wick, Vincent Theodore, Gerald Robson, H. Glen Theodore, Kenneth Theodore and Roland Borge. She will be buried with family at Montana Creek. Floral arrangements are welcome.
Ms. Theodore was born in Anchorage on April 28, 1973. She was raised and graduated from high school there. She was co-owner and manager of Cheta's Corner Cache from 1997 up to the time of her death. She loved camping, hunting, skiing, fishing and snowboarding. She was a member of Montana Creek Baptist Mission.
Her family wrote, "Jennifer was a precious child, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a great friend to all she met. We will never forget her warm smile and loving laugh."
Her sister and niece, Violet and Jude Theodore, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her father, Herbert W. Theodore of Knik; mother, Lillian Theodore of Montana Creek; brothers, Vincent and A. Kenneth Theodore of Seward, and Glen Theodore of Montana Creek; sisters, Lena M. Batt of Soldotna, Carol L. Morgan of Wasilla, Barbara A. Schubert of Anchorage and Sharon L. Padua of Hillsboro, Ore.
A large number of extended family members and friends also survive her. Donations may be made in care of Lillian Theodore, HC89 Box 520, Willow, AK 99688. Arrangements are with Valley Funeral Home & Crematory in Wasilla.
