Jerry W. Pharr Sr., 51, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2005. Visitation was scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hillside Funeral Home's East Chapel, with a service set for 1 p.m. Friday at Colonial Heights Assembly of God.
Mr. Pharr was preceded in death by his father, James Pharr Sr.
Survivors are his fiancée, Marie Taylor of Wichita, Kan.; mother and stepfather, Joy and Richard Jones of Wichita, Kan.; sons, Jerry Pharr Jr. of Wichita, Kan., and Michael Pharr and Joseph Pharr, both of Big Lake; daughter, Melissa Pharr of Wasilla; brothers, Jim (Kate) Pharr of Anchorage and William Pharr of Big Lake; sisters, Denise Green, Melinda Bruckus and Joy Fraser, all of Wichita, and two grandchildren.
