Johnston-Lorimer

Sarah Johnston and Ryan Lorimer will marry during the winter of 2011 in Oahu, Hawaii, on the ocean on the west side of the island.

Ryan and Sarah reside in Wasilla with their 10-year-old daughter. The two met February 2008 at Sarah’s fights at the Alaska Fighting Championship. Ryan proposed April 21, 2010, in front of his grandmother’s beach house in Rhode Island.

Sarah is the daughter of Greg and Kathy Johnston of Wasilla. She is a graduate of East Anchorage High School. Sarah is a fight promoter and owner of Alaska Fighting Championship.

Ryan is the son of Alan Lorimer and Susan DiPrete of Anchorage. A member of Alpha Delta Phi, Ryan is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. He is employed with the U.S. Department of the Interior in Anchorage.
