• Jordan Keith Rumfelt of the Butte graduated Jan. 17 at Marine Corp Recruit Division, San Diego, Calif. After a 10-day leave, he will return to Camp Pendleton, Calif., for more training. Rumfelt received his high school diploma from Galena and graduated from the Alaska Military Youth Academy in 2013. He previously attended Palmer High, Palmer Junior Middle School and Butte Elementary. He is the son of Dennis and Phyllis Beam and sibling to Patrick Beam and Crystal Beam.
