Wasilla resident Jordan Richard Hall, 83, died at his home April 1, 2005. A memorial service was held at 7 p.m., April 6 at Christ First United Methodist Church in Palmer, with the Rev. Bruce Case officiating.

Mr. Hall was born June 27, 1921 in Reading, Vt., and graduated from Black River High School in Ludlow, Vt. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and retired at Eglin AFB, Fla. He served in the Air National Guard in Vermont and also retired in 1982 from Grumman Aerospace in Stuart, Fla.

He moved to Wasilla in 1997. He was a member of Christ First United Methodist Church in Palmer. He enjoyed civil war history and World War II planes, on which he also worked as a mechanic and inspector.

His parents, Frank and Mabel Hall, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Reta Hall of Wasilla; son, Eugene Hall of Wasilla; daughter, Margaret Hall-Chalmer of Ludlow, Vt.; daughter-in-law, Kay Hall of Wasilla; son-in-law, Richard Chalmers of Ludlow, Vt.; grandchildren, Richard Hall of West Palm Beach, Fla., Seth Hall, Daniel Hall and David Hall of Wasilla and Kimberly Sunshine Hall and Katherine Lynn Hall of Ludlow, Vt. Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home & Crematory in Wasilla.
