Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Joseph D. Hodder was born May 2, 1955, in Cambridge, Mass., and died Aug. 23, 2003. He was a resident of Palmer.
Mr. Hodder served in the U.S Navy and retired from the Puget Sound Navel Shipyard. He was an on-call EMT, firefighter and with the Dive Rescue Team in Mat-Su.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine; daughter Jessica of New Zealand; Jermey and Angie Hodder, and Justin Hodder of Alaska; mother Betty Hodder of California; Ed Hodder and family of Washington; John Hodder and family of Topeka Kan.; Louise Pellersel and family of California; and Kim Dodson and family of Washington.
His family said, "Joe will be missed but forever in our hearts."
