Joyce Dringle

Joyce E. Dringle passed peacefully January 21, 2023 at her home, Primrose Retirement Community in Wasilla, Alaska.

Joyce made the move to Alaska in 1957 and immediately fell in love with the mountains and the people so much that she made it her home. She and her husband, Roy, homesteaded in Houston, Alaska in the 1960’s taking bare land and making a wonderful home together that welcomed many. Helping others was always their way. She could always be found helping others, loving animals and sharing about God. Loving people was her calling in life and she did it well. Her legacy of love is what she leaves with her grateful family. She will be greatly missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Roy Dringle. She is survived by her children Patricia Dixon (Robert), David Dringle (Brenda), and Thea DeCoito (Ken); grandchildren Carolyn Young (Tommy), Brandon Dringle, Dominic Cole (Jess), William Cole (Katie), Joshua DeCoito, and Roy DeCoito; great-grandchildren

Aliena Davis (Cody), Isabella and Amelia Cole, Dakota, Tala and Kaiya Cole.
