The Wasilla High School girls basketball team fell to 1-1 on the young season after a 49-47 loss to Alexander High School of Ohio Friday in the opener of the Capital City Classic in Juneau. The Warriors were lead by All-State senior Jenna Johnson, pictured here guarding an Alexander player, who scored 22 points in the loss. Whitney Smith had 17 for Alexander in the win. Wasilla plays again Monday in the round-robin tournament format.
