WASILLA — A 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound was later pronounced dead after being flown to Anchorage early Sunday morning, authorities said in an online dispatch Monday.
According to reports, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence in Wasilla about 12:10 a.m. Sunday after a receiving a report of a boy with a gunshot wound.
The body was turned over to the state medical examiner for an autopsy. Next of kin had been notified and an investigation was under way, according to reports.
