The board of directors, staff and clients of Kids Are People Inc./Saxton Youth Shelter would like to thank everyone involved in our recent "Family Fun Day" at Newcomb Wasilla Lake Park.
We appreciate the following businesses that donated funds, prizes and goods: Alaska Animal Food Warehouse, Arby's, Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors, Blockbuster Video, Mat-Su Cinemas, McDonald's, Matanuska Electric Association, Mead's Coffeehouse, Pizza Hut, Pediatric Dentistry of Alaska, Purely Alaskan Water, NAPA Auto Parts, North Star Speedway, Schuck's Auto Supply, Susitna Speedway Go-Karts, and Valley Feed & Seed.
A big thank-you also to Wasilla Medical Clinic, Valley Women's Resource Center and Janey with the NRA "Eddie Eagle Gun Safety" Program. The Mat-Su Rotoracts youth group did a great job running the kids' games and doing whatever was needed — all with a smile and a terrific attitude!
Again, thanks to all for your support of our agency, community and the youth of the Mat-Su Valley.
