Kaplan will be missed

To the editor:

Nothing has been written concerning the dedication of Sondra Kaplan while she was the director of Wasilla Area Seniors Inc.

Many nights when I was home with my family, Sondra was attending meetings attempting to obtain funding for the center. We forget the $300,000 debt WASI had when Sondra was hired.

I hope the new director has job dedication or else the doors to the center will close. Inadequate funding caused many applications to be written asking for funds.

Sondra, I know that you will show the same dedication on your next job and I hope it will bring peace instead of the strife caused you.

If you ever need a recommendation, I would be glad to offer one.

May God bless you and your family, and may your next venture be a real blessing that brings peace.
