Her body will be returned to New Jersey for final burial. A visitation was held on Thursday at Bizub Quinlan Funeral Home, located at6 515 Lexington Ave. in Clifton, N.J.
Mrs. Wolf was born in Garfield, N.J. on June 23, 1911. She attended Holy Trinity High School in Passaic, N.J. She graduated from Drake's Business College in New Jersey and went to work for The Hartford Association in New York city. Later she worked for Korvette Furniture and retired in 1976.
She met her husband on a blind date and they were married in 1939. They had two children, Jim and Kathie.
Mrs. Wolf was a devout Catholic and a long time member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Elmwood Park, N.J. At the time of her death, she was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Palmer. She moved to Alaska in 1989 and settled in Wasilla to be close to her children and grandson, Garrett. In 1998, when she was no longer able to live alone, she moved to the Palmer Pioneers' Home where she spent her remaining years. She enjoyed visiting with the other residents, crocheting, playing pinochle and all the special events of the home. Her generous spirit was reflected in the special attention she showed to family, staff and residents at the home. She had a card for every person and every occasion. Always ready for a laugh, she loved a good joke even if it was on her.
